Today, Dr. Heisler presented our work published earlier this year, as well as some unpublished work, at the “New Frontiers in Nucleic Acids” conference hosted by the Center for Nucleic Acids Science & Technology (CNAST) at Carnegie Mellon University. This conference was an international to honor Prof. Naoki Sugimoto [Distinguished Professor at Konan University and Director at Frontier Institute for Biomolecular Engineering Research (FIBER)] who was visiting Pittsburgh from Japan. This conference brought attendees from international universities to highlight the strength of nucleic acid research happening here in Pittsburgh.
